Allison + Frank's wedding at The Winery at Bull Run was super special to me. Allison and I grew up in the same town, we played lead roles in Bye Bye Birdie together in High School, and ever since, even if it hasn't been during the same time period, we've always lived in the same city; from Bellport to Boca Raton, Florida and now, Washington DC. I always joke that wherever Allison moves is a prediction of my future home.
The first time I met Frank was at a dinner in Delray Beach while I was still living in South Florida years ago. I think he said a total of two words while Allison and I babbled on and on, not letting him get a word in edge-wise (typical.) And then when I moved to DC last winter, Allison and I, and of course, Frank, started to spend more time together. I grew to adore Frank, and Frank grew to be more chatty around me. The love that Frank has for Allison fills me with such joy, I could cry (and did, for half the wedding) because Allison deserves all that is good in this world. She is kind, she has the best laugh, and she is incredibly selfless. Allison is the ultimate friend, and I am so glad that she found someone just as loving and gentle as she is. It poured on their wedding day, (you'll see a picture of the bridal party screaming and running for a group shot as the sky opened up on them!) but nothing could stand in the way of their love and their ability to shine.
I wish you a lifetime of snuggling, good wine, The Bachelor nights, German-made cars, and riding the metro together. I love you both!
